With a Home Equity Loan from Access Credit Union, you can utilize up to 80% of your home's value, minus the balance of your mortgage, to make improvements.
The specifics:- With a Line: No closing costs with a $10,000 advance at closing and if the loan is not closed within 12 months of opening, Borrowers enjoy a 10-year draw period where they can make interest only payments. After that, there is a 15-year re-payment period.
- Fixed Home Equity Loan terms range from 4 to 10 years.
- There is a $150 application fee.
- Home must be located in the state of Illinois.
- Homeowner must provide evidence of adequate insurance before disbursal of funds.
- Federal law requires a three-business-day rescission period. Upon expiration of the rescission period, funds will be disbursed unless Access Credit Union receives written notice that the right to rescind has been exercised by any party with that right.
